  11. Are outlandish PROMISESmade? Are you asked to ignore REALITY? Is someone trying to overwhelm you with SATISTICS & FACTS? Does the information fit with what you ALREADY KNOW? Are there otherPERSPECTIVES?

  12. Frame of Reference The sum of a person’s knowledge, experience, goals, values, and attitudes. • Everything a speaker says is filtered through a listener’s frame of reference. • No two people have exactly the same frame of reference.
