  1. The L A S T Word

  2. WILDERNESS Mark 15:34 John 19:28

  3. Mark 15:34 And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, “Eloi, Eloi, lemasabachthani?” which means, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”

  4. John 19:28 After this, Jesus, knowing that all was now finished, said (to fulfill the Scripture), “I thirst.”

  5. Deafening Silence • The Third Word shows that Jesus has suffered being alone as we do. • We must remember the promise of the Lord that He will never leave or forsake us!

  6. Quenching Thirst • The Fifth Word reminds us that even in His need, Jesus showed us how to be satisfied. • When we thirst, we must thirst for the Living Word, not the drinks the world gives us.

  7. Wilderness • When you feel like you are all alone, there is One who never leaves. You are NEVER alone. • When your needs go unmet by this world, you can always drink from the still waters of the Living Water, Jesus. He is all you need.
