  1. Development of Zero emissiontransport infrastructure in rural environment(LEADER BEV Ways) Dr. Nagy József, Vass Lajos BioRegionsworkshop 22nd March, 2013

  2. Related legislation and technology background (2010-2050.) • 20% RES + 20% EE + 20% GHG • 10 % RESshare in transport energy using (EU 2009/28 EC Directive)

  3. Related legislation and technology background (2010-2050.) • The fuelof green vehicles: • Electricity (BEV) • Hydrogene (FCEV) • biogas or other liquid bio fuels (eco-methan, -methanol, -etanol, biodiesel) (EUCOM (2010) 186 officialstatement)

  4. Mc ‘Kinsey & Co. studyProducts of the 3rd InsdustrialRevolution FCEV PHEV BEV

  5. Mc ‘Kinsey & Co. studyExpectedresults of the 3rd InsdustrialRevolution Position of the cars in Europe in 2050 • 273 million car on the roads, • 95 % alternative-powered vehicles, • H2 and electric charging infrastracture on the densely populated locations, • BEV, FCEV and PHEV fleets are more efficient than the ICE fleets. 6. ‘1 Village – 1 MW’ program 3rd phase

  7. ‘1 Village – 1 MW’ program 3rd phase In 26 ‘Communityenergy yard’ • 23 PV powerplant (0,5-12 kWp) • 3 e-garage, • 2 biomassfurnace, • 18 batteries, • 23 electricchargers, • 1 geotermal pilot system, • 1 windpowerplant (5 kWp) will be installedwith 100% EU LEADER support, with a budget of more than 1 million euro.

  8. MIKROVIRKA integration Plug-infastchargers

  9. MIKROVIRKA e-garage

  10. LEADER BEV WAYS integration Target: The target of the project is to create the basis of the zero emission electric public with decentralized (DG) renewable energy (RES) utilization in smart grid integration.

  11. Project overview C-PV, PV powerplants MIKROVIRKA centre CHAR, FA-CHAR – BEV Productionunits Coordination centre Distributionunits and consumers

  12. LEADER-BEV-WAYS – Cooperation project Technical scope of the project • BEV charging station: • 4 kWp PV power plant (on-grid with connection), • 3- 21 kW AC normal charging station, • 5o kW AC/DC fast charging station, • Garage metal structure, • MIKROVIRKA balance membership.

  13. LEADER-BEV-WAYS – Cooperation project Technical scope of the project • Minibus without ICE, with battery pack and electric engine, • Other: public procurement, technical supervisor, quality management, network design, project management.

  14. MIKROVIRKA members

  15. Advantages • 1. Significant part of theincomeofthecommunitieswillnotspenttofossilfuels. • 2. The energysafety, independency and fame of thecommunitieswillincrease. • 3. The communityawerenesswill be enveloped.

  16. Advantages 5. The use and development of thecleantechnologiesofthe 21st century, newworkplaces. 6. The GHG and noiseemissioncausedbythetransportwill be significantlydecreased.
