Forest • Mutualism –bee pollinating a flower. • Parasitism – snake eating a rabbit. • Commensalism- squirrel living in a tree. • Scavenger – raccoon eating dead animal. • Predator/prey – a snake hunting a rabbit. • Decomposer – ants on a dead organism. • Competition – two squirrels fighting for an acorn.

Rain forest • Mutualism – bird cleaning crocodiles teeth. • Parasitism – crocodile eating a bird. • Commensalism – toucan living in a tree in a nest. • Scavenger – raccoon eating dead animal. • Predator/Prey – crocodile chasing a bird. • Decomposer – ants over a dead carcass. • competition – two monkeys fighting for a female monkey.

Tundra • Mutualism – arctic wolf protecting polar bear. • Parasitism – arctic wolf eating fish. • Commensalism – baby polar bear getting warmth from mother. • Scavenger – arctic wolf. • Predator/prey – polar bear hunting a fish. • Decomposer – moss and lichen. • Competition – two penguins fighting for dominance.

  6. Fresh water • Mutualism – algae eaters. • Parasitism – cestoda in fish. • Commensalism – crawfish under a rock. • Scavenger – algae eaters eating algae. • Predator/Prey – big fish eating littler fish. • Decomposer – shrimp. • Competition – fish fighting for something.

Desert • Mutualism – garden snake. • Parasitism – coyote eating chicken. • Commensalism – cactus wren next on a cactus. • Scavenger – vulture eating an animal carcass. • Predator/prey – coyote chasing a jack rabbit. • Decomposer – ants on a dead rabbit. • Competition – 2 roosters fighting for dominance.
