  2. About Lady Guinevere Lady Guinevere was called Queen of Camelot. She was considered one of the fairest maidens in Britain.

  3. Family She came from a noble Roman family. Her father was Leodegrance of Cameliard. She came from a line of royalty, and she married King Arthur. King Arthur Leodegrance

  4. The Problem Sir Lancelot She soon fell in love with Sir Lancelot, one of Arthur’s bravest, most loyal knights.

  5. What Arthur did King Arthur Sir Lancelot At first, Arthur didn’t notice the growing attachment between Queen Guinevere and Sir Lancelot, but later he was forced to accuse his wife of adultery and fight Lancelot.

  6. The fight Several violent battles between Arthur and Lancelot occurred, and groups of knights joined on each side.

  7. What it caused The affair caused the downfall of Camelot. Merlin had warned Arthur that Lady Guinevere would be unfaithful before he married her, but Arthur did anyway.

  8. After Arthur’s death After Arthur’s death, Lady Guinevere entered a nunnery at Amesbury and stayed there until her death.
