Introduction “We generally refer to those who use instruments as musicians and those who use their voices as singers.” I enjoy singing whenever I can sing because it expresses how I feel and it helps me to relax and clear my thoughts. I can sing…but I need practice *ahem* lots *ahem* of practice to play an instrument..

  6. Nature Of Work Musicians and singers play instruments or sing for live audiences and in recording studios. GIRLS’ GENERATION!!!

Working Conditions • Musicians and singers often perform in settings such as concert halls, arenas, and clubs. • Hours: Varies from day to day, usually about 10 hours. • Physical: Needs strong vocals and stamina. • Mental: Memorization for lyricsand choreographies. • Conditions: Stressful, pressure. Aigoo…so much stress caused by fans!!

Training, Qualification, Advancement S.M. makes their idols train for at least 3 years! • Education: High school diploma. • Training: few months to one year of working with experienced employees. • Experience: Some previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is usually needed. • High school classes to take: Dance class, Theatre classes and English class. • Start by attending Sterling Heights High school Performing Arts program (WCSPA). I heard they trained Baekhyun from EXO for 7 years!

Backup Plan:Pharmacist • Responsibilities: Dispense prescription medications to patients and offer expertise in the safe use of prescriptions. • Where: Grocery and drug stores, hospitals and clinics. • Hours: 8 hours per day. • Why: If I can’t be a performing arts person (singer, actress), I want to be able to help others become healthy and well.
