V GENCO V M H ACTION PLAN • Dry Ash evacuation plant for Unit No.5 and half of Unit No.6, agreement was signed with M/s Manikgarh Cement on Dt. 25.10.2007 • Ash silo, Compressor House and Weigh Bridge foundation work completed. • On commissioning of plant, 1000 MT/day fly ash will be utilised.

  4. V GENCO V M H ACTION PLAN 2) Dry ash evacuation plant on BOT basis for Unit No. 7 and half of Unit No. 6, agreement with M/s Murli Industries, Nagpur is under process. Draft agreement complying with queries sent to H. O. vide letter No. KTPS/CGM/ Fly Ash/8098 Dt. 15.10.2008. M/s Murli Industries agreed to accept all terms and condition as per M/s Manikgarh Cement.

V GENCO V M H ACTION PLAN 3) For modification of existing evacuation system of Unit No.3, order is placed to M/s Time Engineer, Chandrapur, vide WO No. KTPS/PUR/BM-I/08-09/6479 Dt. 05.08.2008 After modification Koradi TPS can issue additional 300 MT/day fly ash. 4) Core Team of officers & employees is formed to promote and monitor fly ash utilisation day to day activities.

ACTION PLAN V GENCO V M H 5) D.O. letter sent to various Government organizations to promote use of fly ash for cement concrete and land filling. 6) 150 MT pond ash transported to Agri. field to encourage and help to spread awareness among the farmers fraternity. 7) Visit to various bricks kiln to encourage use of fly ash 8) Bricks Manufacturers meeting conducted on Dt. 22.11.2008 9) Tender No. T - 418 is floated for collection of floating material from ash bund.

V GENCO V M H REASONS FOR LESS UTILISATION • Modification work for Ash silo of Unit No. 3, work yet not started. • Unit No. 1, 2 and 4 , no arrangement for evacuation of fly ash. • Unit No. 5 and Half of Unit No. 6 dry ash evacuation plant by M/s Manikgarh Cement is yet not commissioned. Work period extended up to 31.03.2009 • Unit No. 7 and half of Unit No. 6 dry ash evacuation plant, agreement with M/s Murli Industries, Nagpur is in process.
