  2. Prosperity Social & Community Development Group, Inc. (PSCDG) provides meaningful opportunities that will stimulate and revitalize social and economic development in underserved communities throughout Miami-Dade County. Our programs help individuals marginalized in our society, including minority groups, immigrants, women, teen-girls, the homeless and ex-offenders. Board of Directors Ms. NadegeVilsaint is a Registered Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Barry University. After more than 15 years of experience in this field, and identifying the needs in her community, Ms. Vilsaint founded Prosperity Social & Community Development Group, Inc. in 2011. The organization attained its non-profit status in July 2013 and a month later launched its first program in the City of North Miami. This is “Connecting the Bridge through Literacy”, a program that started targeting Haitian immigrants who struggle with English as a second language. In less than two years the program has served over 150 clients and today it includes Hispanics and other groups experiencing difficulties with the English language.

  4. N.O.W. Project Health and Wellness N.O.W. Project Health and Wellness provides screenings to teach K-12 students and families to practice healthy habits from eating healthy foods, exercising daily, preventing sexually transmitted diseases and unwanted pregnancies by engaging and educating them to ensure positive and lasting change. The program will effectively communicate the need for regular routine medical checkups while also facilitating the process to access such services.

  5. Provides mental health and case management to Miami-Dade County students grades K-12 who have challenges at school such as truancy and behavior issues, who suffer from depression, anxiety, loneliness or may have family issues. These students receive individual, group and family counseling to overcome challenges and ultimately perform better in school and at home.
