  3. Materials • The Pleasures of Counting • by T.W. Korner • Clicker

  4. Homework: Chapters of “Pleasures of Counting” will be assigned weekly. • Homework and lecture are the bases for the weekly multiple choice quizzes. • First assignment: read Chapter 1 for next Tuesday.

  5. Written Component • Presentation of math topic • Work in Teams • Bonus for Survival of the Most Interesting • 40% of the Total Grade

  7. STRONG NOTE: for any of the above deadlines your team misses, each of you will be penalized ½ of a full letter grade for the course. Rushed materials counts as missing the deadline. COURSE EVALUATION: Attendance 20% Participation 20% Quizzes 20% Project /Presentation 40% Total 100%
