  4. How can you get involved? • It’s not too late to join! • Now: plan for assessment trip • Spring: finish designs & plan for implementation trip • Experienced or inexperience, everyone has a place • If you have a passion to serve, we’d love to have you!

  13. Fundraising Update! • Acuna and Scotty’s House helped out and wrote 60 letters last Monday • Everyone clicked the thinger about 100 times, we find out November 19th if we win! • Profit shares: next Friday? • Reed arena cleanup: December 12 (Sunday study break before finals)

  14. AGGIE 500! SOAPBOX DERBY • EWB

  15. COMMONS LOBBY BOOTH! • Soon! (Next week-ish) We will have a booth promoting the Aggie 500! Soapbox Derby in the Commons Lobby Area. • Sooooooo, if you want to go be awesome and talk to people about it all day…or just need a break from all that daunting school work and feel the need to go advertise for the BEST event ever, then please, let Antonio or Matai know via e-mail @ soapbox.ewbtamu@gmail.com

  16. Car Testing??? • Our first prototype design soapbox car is under way! What’s the next step once we have it fully built? TEST IT • Sooooo, because we’re so friendly and awesome, we urge you to come try it out with us! If you’re interested…which I can’t imagine why you wouldn’t be…then let us know and we’ll keep you updated so that when it’s finished! You can come ride in it!

Future Projects • Belize- • Community School needs help with water distribution, designing and pouring a support slab for a windmill for electricity generation, possibly water filtration, etc. • Guatemala • Primarily Mayan indigenous communities need all sort of help • Lets help them! 501 program start up document! • See me and lets set up a meeting time!

Regional Conference • Grady Hillhouse and Kate Emery- presenting on Costa Rica project in front of 3,500 people • Grady Meloy- presenting on fundraising to an empty chair. • 9 people signed up for travel • Travel team will be meeting soon to discuss things. • If you are on travel team see a Grady after the meeting

  20. Long Term • Increasing project number • Increasing membership • Improving project quality • VP Project meetings • Lessons learned, transference of knowledge • Development of the organization • HUGE amount of things here. • The development team is paving the way! • Great job guys
