VP of Projects Updates • International Conference • Currently 8 people signed up • You still have time to register, but all the slots for “scholarships” are filled, so you’ll have to pay your own way. • Getting started on wiki page initiative soon. • Archive files, documents, and program history • We may be starting a new local project (playground) • Updated EWB-USA managed growth policies • Could be bad news for the Guatemala program

  5. Treasurer Updates • SOFC Main Account - $1377.01 • SOFC Sub-Account - $924.03 • Civil Department Account – $2000 • Acuna reimbursements being processed • “Bechtel” Account - $2250 • To be used for International Conference reimbursements • EWB-USA Account - $1309

Treasurer Updates • How to get a reimbursement: • Go online to http://studentactivities.tamu.edu/sofc/forms and print out the Check Request form (or ask Christy for one) • Fill out • Return to Christy with original receipts paper clipped • Make sure all receipts have proof of purchase!   8. AGGIE 500 SOAPBOX DERBY!!! • Come to our meetings every Wednesday 7:30pm CE 219 • Events coming up soon and we still need plenty of help! • Interested in participating in our advertising events?   10. Children’s Museum Team • Changed gears yet again! • Water conservation exhibit called Save Some for the Fish! • Where our water comes from (how it gets to the tap) and easy ways for kids to conserve water at home. • Incorporates pumps and solenoid valves among other things.

  13. Updates: • Working with Holy Cross Anglican School in San Mateo, Belize • Tentatively approved by EWB-USA • First project is to design a water purification system • Planning for an assessment trip in August • Meetings Mondays at 7 –CE 217
