  6. Careers • The 3 major jobs are car dealerships, banks, and airlines

  7. Political History • Democratic republic governed. • 84-member unicameral Legislative • Presidential elections are held in March • Legislative and municipal elections are held in January

  8. Current Political Situation • Mauricio Funesis currently the president he has been since June 1, 2009. • They have a 5 year term as president.

  9. Money • They pay using a colon.

  10. Weather • The weather in August would be warm the rainy season comes in October and the hottest month is April so it maintains a warm climate. The weather would not affect my travels. • I do believe if I had a Job there I would enjoy the weather because I like warm weather but I also love the rain. I hate cold weather.

  11. Events Occurring • 2012 March - Funes government suffers setback in parliamentary polls which give the right-wing a narrow victory.

  12. Would you live there? • It is a possibility I love there weather and there beaches.
