  2. Question 1-How old are you? • I tried to find out my target audience’s age to determine effective advertisements; out of those who were questioned, all were between 16-21, my desired target audience.

  3. Question 2-What is your gender? • I asked what the gender was of the potential customers to help determine effective advertising strategies, the result was slightly in favour of a male audience.

  4. Question 3- where is your town of residence? • I asked this question to help me discover where most of my target audience resided. I found out from the people I questioned they all resided in either Essex or London, I can use this information to help me find out my readers habits and interests and what methods of promotion will be most effective.

  5. Question 4-Are you employed? • I asked this to try and find out how much disposable income was available to my target audience, I found out roughly half of my target audience currently work.

  6. Question 5-What interests do you have? • I asked this question to help with the advertising for my magazine; by finding out the interests of my target audience I hoped to find which advertising strategies would do better for my magazine.

  7. Question 6-Choose two colours? • I wanted to find out the favourite colours of my target audience to see what colours they would respond best to. The best results were Blue, Black, Purple, Green, Whit and Gold.

  8. Question 7-Which of the following music magazines is your favourite? • I wanted to find out what similar magazines my target audience liked to give me a better idea of what to feature/ base my magazine on.

  9. Question 8-Where would you purchase your magazine from? • I asked this to give me a better understanding of my consumers habits. I found out the supermarket and newsagents are the most popular places to purchase.

  10. Question 9-How often do you purchase music magazines? • I wanted to see if my target audience were loyal to any brands or were typically active in purchasing magazines. I found out that my target audience tend to buy magazines once in a while, not on a regular basis.

  11. Question 10-Who are your two favourite artists? • I did this to find out what artists or genres were popular in my target audience. I found out that BMTH were vary popular and the screamo genre, Whilst other artists were of equal popularity.

  12. Question 11-How often would you like the magazine to be released? • I did this to help me satisfy the needs of my target audience. I found out just over half of those questioned would like a monthly magazine and just under half wanted a fortnightly magazine.

  13. Question 12-Would you be willing to pay £1.50 a month? • I did this to see if my target audience were able to afford and happy with the price set. I found out that all of those who were questioned were happy with the preposed weekly price.

  14. Question 13-What “freebies” would you like to come with the magazine? • I did this to see what offers or what features may attract my target audience; I found out that posters and competitions were the most popular choices.

  15. Question 14-What would you like the main feature in the magazine to be? • I did this to see what main features would draw in the biggest audience and had the biggest popularity. I found out that the majority wanted an interview whilst some wanted a gig review.
