  1. Solar Energy Student Sample

  2. Solar Energy is captured by using the sun. Solar energy is a renewable resource because the sun is constantly giving out energy.

  3. Solar Panels contain Solar Cells Sunlight is captured in solar cells and it is then used to make electricity.

  4. Example Image of Solar Energy Transfer

  5. Solar Energy Cells in Space The space station uses solar energy.

  6. People already depend on solar energy to naturally heat pools and greenhouses.

  7. Advantages • Renewable – The sunlight will not run out for billions of years. • Non-pollutant – Energy from the sun does not cause or increase pollution.

  8. Disadvantages • It is expensive to make and maintain solar panels. • Production of solar panels can create a dangerous waste.

  9. Overall • Solar Energy is an alternative way to provide electricity and power to our communities. • People should invest in using renewable resources and get away from consuming fossil fuels. • I will look for ways to make a difference through supporting solar energy.
