  1. Yukon Wide Adventures was founded in 1991 by Mike Simon under the name 'Log Cabin Adventures Yukon'. In recent years the company developed into a very successful german and english speaking Yukon tour operator and outfitter. Our service includes the planing of individual tours, all transportations, canoe and kajak rentals, mobilehome and camper rentals as well as rentals of any outdoor equipment. We organize guided canoe and hiking tours in the entire Yukon Territory and Alaska. In addition to our all season guided tours, we offer Yukon custome-made winter activities to experience an individual Yukon adventure.

  2. Thomas de Jager took over the company in 2003, as the new owner. He has over 25 years canoeing experience and participated successfully in more than 100 national and international competitions in wildwater canoeing. He is very capable to pass on his skills to experienced canoeists as well as beginners. Thomas is in possession of a german instructor certification and has trained several years wih the young talents of the Monheimer Canoe Club 1972 e.V. Besides his canoe expereince, Thomas guided Alpine skigroups for many years in the European Alpes. His knowledge in winter sport activities is very valueable for our extended individual winter program.
