2. Active • China is an ancient nation, but she has the most active people in the world. Being active is one of the main features of China and Chinese people. The culture and many other things come from the active Chinese. • Only being active can make our nation a prosperous country.

3. Bicycle • China is a developing country. People usually don’t have much money to buy expensive cars. So the bicycle becomes the most common means of transportation. • But we believe we can use the most fashionable vehicle in the coming future with the fast development of our country.

4. Development • With the economic globalization, the development of our country will go more further. • Our country has developed in economy, culture and many other aspects. We think that China develops not only in the material conditions, but also in the mental state.

5. Festivals • There’re many festivals in China. From the first month to the last month, there’s at least one festival in each month. • The biggest festival is the Spring Festival. Every year, people put so much importance on it. It means the beginning of a new year, everyone has a new aim and a new life in the coming year.

6. Glory Chinese people gain more and more glories from different fields. As citizens of China ,we feel so proud. In the 2008 Olympic Games, our athletes won 51 gold medals.

7. History China has a long history. It is a civil country which has been created for 5000 years. It has an abundant civilization which is of great historical meaning.

8. Magic.China is rich in excess of the historical achievements of ordinary people to imagine. Just like Terracotta Warriors and Horses of Qin Shi Huang Mausoleum which have been inscribed on the World Heritage List.

9. Notion.It is very important in China to have a positive notion. As the saying goes, people can not do without faith. Having a notion is not only helpful to ourselves, but also can make a creative contribution to our society.

10. Old.As many people know, China is one of the four major ancient civilizations which has around five thousand years of history and culture. The great vitality of the Chinese culture is a typical representation of China. Rich and colorful Chinese culture tends to give people a deep impression, especially for foreigners.

11. Peace.China has been paying attention to peace since ancient times. Take China's diplomatic principle for example, it includes the "Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence". Loving peace has become a habit of the Chinese.

16. Tragedy As we all know, China has experienced so many tragedies. The earthquake in Sichuan in 2008 is the worst that the country had ever had since the new China was built. People at home and abroad have offered great help. The government took timely measures for the people there. The world witnesses the solidarity of Chinese people.

17. Volunteer In recent years, the volunteering spirit has spread among the Chinese people, especially among youngsters. According to a survey, in 2008, there were about 1,700,000 volunteers who offered services for Olympic Games. Actually, an increasing number of people become volunteers every year in China.
