  7. Drop/Add Procedure • Drop/Add is available during the first three days of the semester.  Please see your advisor to make sure you are registering for the correct class. You can then enter the class on your Banner Web account. • You can also use Banner Web to drop a class during the first three days of the semester with no penalty.

  8. Drop/Add (cont’d) To withdraw from a class with no penalty during the first three days of the semester, you must see a Career Counselor in the Student Affairs office to obtain a Withdrawal Form. This form must be submitted by the close of business in the 3rd instructional day of the semester. If you do not complete the Withdrawal Form by this time, all courses for which you registered will become a permanent part of your academic record and you will be held accountable and financially responsible for these courses.

Inform students of workshops or events that are happening on campus. Students can browse and apply for available jobs that meet their skill sets. Register on the STC Career Services website: www.southeasterntech.edu/currentstudents/careerservices.asp Online tool to assist students with managing their career development and job seeking needs.

  20. WORK ETHICS • Work Ethics traits will be integrated into the program standards of each program curriculum and evaluated in at least one course in the program. • Employers are urged to request transcripts of graduates which will include a work ethics seal.

TECHNICAL EDUCATION GUARANTEE • Offered to business partners • Applies to any graduate in his/her field of training • Remains in effect for two years after graduation “If one of our graduates who was educated under a standard program, and his/her employer agree that the employee is deficient in one or more competencies as defined in the standards, the technical college will retrain that employee at no instructional cost to the employee or employer.”
