  1. Discover the experience of being a gleitschirm!

  2. Paragliders and kites are the most important parts of the paragliding mechanism. Made of light yet resistant materials, they take the fliers up into the sky and allow them enjoy amazing sceneries. A single trip with such a machine can last up to two hours! Just you, your trainer and the nature; no noise, no stress, no other people – this is what this sport is all about. Leaving everything behind for a couple of minutes or a couple of hours can help you relax and enjoy life at its fullest.

  3. What is more, the feeling of freedom it gives and the adrenaline that you feel pumping through your veins cannot be compared with anything else. The glider aircraft is foot-launched and the pilot is held in a harness which resembles a lot to those used in parachutes. In fact, the gleitschirm or paraglider is just like a parachute with the only difference that it is used to jump off from cliffs and mountain peaks and not from airplanes.

  4. Another advantage of the paraglider is that it is easy to carry around because it is lightweight. Thus packing and transportation are not a problem: the whole equipment fits in a rucksack and can be taken to various destinations. It doesn’t occupy a lot of space, which means it fits on the pilot’s back or in a car’s trunk.

  5. For those who are attracted by the idea of practicing this sport, they need to know that beginners are not allowed to fly by themselves. They will be accompanied by a professional instructor who has the necessary experience required to manoeuvre the paraglider. This is an advantage for the client: because he doesn’t have to deal with technical issues, he can rest assured that the only thing he will have to do is stay calm and enjoy the scenery.

  6. Switzerland is one of the best destinations where people can practice this sport. Being a mountainous country, paragliding’s addicts will be more than thrilled to launch from mountains such as Pilatus, Rigi, Engelbergtal, Zugerberg, and more.

  7. People can take photos before, after and during the flight. These will surely be amazing captures and they will represent great, unforgettable memories. Paragliding is a sport that at first sight seems frightful and challenging, but after the first flight is complete, everyone will want to repeat the experience. Once you gain a bit of courage and curiosity, you will want to try more of this sport’s branches, such as hang gliding, powered paragliding, speed flying, kite skiing, and so on.
