  16. Our Vision for Transforming Teaching and Learning Curriculum is restructured to engage students in solving real-world problems that relate to state standards. In-depth knowledge, analysis and application of major concepts are emphasized.

  17. Our Vision for Transforming Teaching and Learning Classrooms have Internet connectivity and can collaborate on common problems and bring in virtual experts through virtual reference desks (e.g., Ask-A-LEGAL Eagle).

  18. Our Vision for Transforming Teaching and Learning Performance-based assessment of student products published on the W.W.W.; also, self-assessments and monitoring of progress toward improvement on state content standards.

  19. Our Vision for Transforming Teaching and Learning Our website contains numerous applications, links, collaborations, and virtual reference desks that support research, analysis, problem solving and communications, and these electronic resources will expand under TIPS.

After today’s workshop… • There will be one more full day workshop • After school technical skills workshops to assist you in developing a TIPS WebQuest (for which you will be paid) • Ongoing help from staff developers & directors in developing your WebQuest by e-mail, listserv & phone (toll free 888-443-4720)
