  2. Status • Installed at the beginning of the semester • Failed halfway through • Contacted company to diagnose / repair / replace

  3. Status • Sent unit off to be fixed • One and a half weeks later, unit arrives back • Nothing supposedly wrong with the unit, but trouble ticket says the NVRAM was cleared

  4. Status • Three days after unit is back and has been operating normally, unit malfunctions again • Contacted company, asked for troubleshooting steps / advice; didn’t work

  5. Status • Unit was sent back to DataFlowSys AGAIN • Their technicians took a deeper, more diagnostic look at the whole RTU • Determined a bad value was written to memory

  6. Status • DataFlowSys wants to know what happened to cause the condition? • Nothing? • Service port on the front of the RTU • Special cable and software has been ordered – waiting for it to arrive

  7. Status • After software arrives, check functionality of ‘Analog Input 1’ – stopped working after received unit back from DataFlowSys • Initial tests suggest problem lies within RTU
