  4. Remember: when you use être in the past tense, the past participle has to agree with the subject in gender and number (just like adjectives do): • Paul et Luc sontallés au concert. • Claire et Sophie sont allées au cinéma. • Jean est allé au supermarché. • Colette est allée à la bibliothèque.

  5. When the subject is the pronoun on, the past participle will agree with the subject it represents: • Baptiste et moi, on est allés au parc hier.
