  5. The Kings PrepareThey mounted their camels and set off on their journey as they followed the star.

  6. Mary and Joseph Prepare Everyone in the village of Nazareth was busy preparing for the long journey to Bethlehem. Mary and Joseph were preparing too.

  7. ‘Mary, we will bring the donkey with us, so that you won’t have to walk all the way, ‘ said Joseph. ‘We can put our bags on the donkeys back also,’ said Mary.

  8. Mary and Joseph set off on their long journey.

  9. ‘Look! There is Bethlehem,’ said Joseph. ‘We must write our names in the book and then look for a place to stay.’

  10. ‘I hope we can find someplace to stay, because there are a lot of people in the city tonight,’ said Mary.

  11. Joseph and Mary knocked on the door of every inn but they were all full.
