  6. Science Team Software Delivery Requirements • Update from the latest DAP • Software • HDF version • HDF-EOS Geo fields • Use current version of input data • Delivery notes • Documenting science software changes • Describing the products and the ancillary files • Documenting all third party software used • Documenting known issues / bugs • Include test input / output data AMSR-E / AMSR2 TLSCF

  7. Science Software • Integration & Test Procedures • Review each science team delivery • Begin with current DAP? • Document changes in software and ancillary files? • Output file meets ECS requirements? • Known issues, bug fixes • Compile and run the science software • Document changes necessary to compile at TLSCF • Compare output with that provided by the scientist AMSR-E / AMSR2 TLSCF

  8. Science Software Integration & Test Procedures • Update the metadata, QA, and operational code • Document changes • Integrate the science software • Compile and run the completed software package • Compare output • Update Provenance metadata • Provide documentation to NSIDC • Update the ESDT AMSR-E / AMSR2 TLSCF

  9. Science Software Integration & Test Procedures • Deliver DAP to the SIPS • Science, metadata, & QA software • Makefile and wrapper scripts • Deliverynotes • Static ancillary files • Checksums • Support SIPS in resolving processing anomalies AMSR-E / AMSR2 TLSCF

  10. Delivered Algorithm Package • A package containing software and documentation sufficient to allow a user to recreate the associated standard product • 1 DAP per science software delivery • DAP version = file version • Delivered and installed at SIPS for processing • Available to users from NSIDC AMSR-E / AMSR2 TLSCF

  11. Delivery Notes • Describes the software changes, including new requirements • Lists known issues associated with the release • Describes the file naming convention • Includes input and output file descriptions • Identifies the required operating system, compilers, and libraries • Lists and describes all routines and ancillary files, identifying the ones that have changed • Contacts • Operating instructions AMSR-E / AMSR2 TLSCF
