  16. Calculating change 3 You can calculate change by counting on for any value up to a pound using just two steps. Step 1 Count on to the next 10 Step 2 Count forward in 10s until you reach 100p (£1) and then add both your answers together. How much change will I have from £1.00 if I pay for a bottle of water costing 44p?
