  2. We all need recovery – because none of us is perfect. • We’ve all been hurt • We’ve all have hang ups • We’ve all have habits Root cause – we want to be in control

  3. The more insecure we are – the more we want to be in control. • Fatigue • Frustration • Failure How do you break out of that?

  5. GOD’S THREE DENIAL BUSTERS • CRISIS • CONFRONTATION • CATASTROPHE

  6. Hebrews 11:6 So, you see, it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that there is a God and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him. NLT

  7. ACKNOWLEDGE GODS EXISTENCE Romans 1:20 “Since the creation of the world, God’s invisible qualities, his eternal power, and his divine nature have been clearly seen.” Ps. 19:1 “The heavens declare the glory of God.”

  8. UNDERSTAND HIS CHARACTER Colossians 1: 15 “Christ is the visible expression of the invisible God.”

  9. God knows all about my situation Psalm 56:8 You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book. NLT Psalm 69:5 O God, you know how foolish I am; my sins cannot be hidden from you.

  10. God cares about my situation Ps 103:13-14 The LORD is like a father to his children, tender and compassionate to those who fear him. For he understands how weak we are; he knows we are only dust. Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

  11. God can change me and my situation Eph 1:19-20 I pray that you will begin to understand the incredible greatness of his power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead Luke 18:27 "The things which are impossible with men are possible with God."

  12. TESTIMONIES

  13. Accept God’s offer to help you. Philippians 2:13 For God is working in you, giving you the desire to obey him and the power to do what pleases him. NLT

  14. Holy Spirit comes to bring to us:- • Power • Love • Self-control YOU NEED TO PLUG INTO THE POWER

  15. Isaiah 43: “When you go through deep waters and great troubles I will be with you. You won’t drown. When you walk through the fires of oppression, you won’t be burned up.” God says, “I will be with you this next week, month, year as you face those issues you’ve been afraid to face in your life.”
