Real time-PCR primer analysis. 5 different WT mice were sacrificed and hearts, livers and kidney were taken for analysis. (a) Primers for the transgenic HGF (HGF TRANS) showed no expression in WT mice organs, proving that they are specific for the transgenic. The cut-off (red line) of the expression in this assay is 50. (b) HGF Primers for Total HGF (HGF TOT) showed that HGF is expressed in the organs and as expected at a greater level in the liver. (c) Primers for α-MHC were specific for the heart.
