Apple Computer I • Apple Computer I was released in 1976 • It was designed and hand-built by Woz • Price: US$666.66 (Set by Jobs; doubling the cost of manufacturing) • Apple as company symbol and this price, really?! • Apple’s first computer did not include monitor, keyboard or case and it had an assembled circuit board. • CPU: MOS 6502 @ 1 MHz • Memory 4 KB standardexpandable to 8 KB or 48 KB using expansion cards

Apple Computer II • Apple Computer II was released in 1976 • One of the first highly successful mass-produced microcomputer products, designed primarily by Woz • Price: US $1,298 • Apple Computer II "was the first of its type to provide usable colourful graphics” • CPU: MOS 6502 @ 1.023 MHz • Memory: 4 KB RAM, but could be extended up to 48 KB RAM

Go and come from Jobs • 1985 John Sculley was the CEO from Apple • The selling of the products was not so good • Jobs was disappointed and sold all of his shares except one • Apple lacked courage and innovation, a very terrible time for Apple • Steve Jobs came back to Apple exactly 12y. later • Apple released the colorful “iMac” • The “iMac” saved both Apple and Steve Jobs from bankruptcy

And more… • June 29, 2007 Apple released the first.. • iPhone • It was the beginning of a new era • January 27, 2010 Apple released the first.. • iPad • The first tablet computer with multitouch • Today there are 18 iPhone versions • Today there are 15 iPad versions • Currently we have iOS 11.4.1 (updated last monday) • Newest products are “Apple Watch”, “AirPod”, and “HomePod”

Trivial fun facts • Ronald Wayne sold his shares (10%) for 800$ • Today it would have been worth over $93.1 billion • Samsung was the only company, which manufactured Retina display for Apple for a long time in the past • 80,000+ employees are working for Apple around the world • 340,000 iPhones sold per day.  Apple sold these many phones in 2012 • Apple earns in 2012 US$ 300,000 per minute • Steve jobs was a buddhist. • For a long time Jobs only ate fruits and was a vegetarian • Apple have a patent for the “slide-to-unlock” feature…
