  5. CLEAN ENERGIES OCEAN ENERGIES Eólica y undimotriz SOLAR CO2 HYDROGEN BIOFUELS IDESA PRESENTATION R&D Projects IDESA is involved in many R&D projects related with clean energies. IDESA participates in an ambitious R&D Project about oceanic energies (OCEAN LIDER). The Project aims to develop the necessary technologies for implantation of integrated facilities to make the most of renewable oceanic energies: waves and marine currents. IDESA takes part actively in Cenit ConSOLi+Da Project. The project will perform Research and Development activities in Concentrating Solar Thermal Technologies (Cylindrical Parabolic Receivers, Power Tower and Stirling Discs) consolidating the leading position of Spain in the thermosolar technology. IDESA also participates in the Cenit SOST CO2 Project. The objective of the Project is basically to analyze the complete life cycle of CO2 from its capture on the emission sources to its transportation, storage, and large scale appraisement. HiPRwind The aim of the HiPRwind (“hyperwind”) project is to investigate, develop and test new solutions for very large wind turbines for future offshore developments at an industrial scale. The project will address critical issues of offshore wind turbine technology such as extreme reliability, remote maintenance and grid integration with particular emphasis on floating wind turbines.
