  2. In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Genesis 1:1 • Beginning - • Universe is not eternal • Before this time did not exist • God Created - • Brought Something new into existence • Matter did not create itself • Heaven and earth No Gap

  3. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. Genesis 1:2 • Without Form and Void - • Not Chaos • Not habitable for man • Darkness - • Plants would need light • Plants necessary for man’s existence Now God is Ready to speak

  13. Exodus 20:8-11 8. Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: 10. But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: 11. For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

  14. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 Jewish Work Week Were these six 24 hour days? Were they six ages of millions of years? Did Moses really mean to say: “Remember the Sabbath age to keep it holy . . . for in six eons Jehovah made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is”?
