Participate in a hands-on lab simulating predator-prey relationships using yarn colors as prey. Learn about camouflage and survival strategies in a fun and interactive setting. Observe how the predator (you) tries to catch the well-camouflaged prey. How many pieces of yarn can you catch in 30 seconds?

Copy this information on the bottom of Pg. 88 in your Packet: • The different color of yarn is the prey • You are the predator. • The yarn closest in color to the grass, will likely survive because they are more camouflaged and harder for predators (you) to see. • Pretend I put 100 pieces of yarn for each color in a grassy area for a total of 600 pieces. • You’re job is to grab as many pieces of yarn as you can in 30 seconds.
