The Springwell Walking Bus initiative began with identifying routes and gathering children's consent. With the help of dedicated volunteers, we plotted the safest route and conducted a thorough risk assessment. We ensured proper insurance coverage for our weekly travels. Equipped with jackets, mobile phones, ropes, and first aid kits, our routine starts at 8:25 am, allowing children to enjoy a healthy, fun commute to school. As we celebrate our first anniversary, feedback highlights the program's positive impact on fitness and enjoyment among students.
