Our research project created by Mrs. Saracino focuses on teaching students how to carefully find information using resources like encyclopedias, dictionaries, non-fiction books, and the internet. The project consists of three steps: 1. Plan - understanding the task; 2. Do - conducting the research; and 3. Review - assessing completion. By following this process, students learn valuable research skills in a structured manner.

Step 1 – Plan • What am I supposed to do? • What will it look like if I do a really good job ? • What do I need to find out to do the job?
Step 2 – Do This is where you DO the activity. • Get the book • Read and gather information • Get supplies • Write information • Draw pictures • Practice reading the report
Step 3 – Review • Did I do what I was supposed to do? • Do I feel okay about this? • Should I do something else before I turn it in?
