  3. INITIAL REMINDER FAILURE TO FOLLOW THE PRESET GUIDELINES, INCLUDING STAYING ON PROPERTY, MAY RESULT IN EXPULSION FROM THE TRIP AT THE COST OF THE INDIVIDUAL!
  4. NURSE REMINDER The nurse sent out a packet to your house! Please return ASAP if your child receives daily medication or has permission to receive medication (e.g. Tylenol) No one can pack Tylenol, prescription acne medication etc.!!!
  5. PHOTO I.D. An I.D. is necessary for airport security. Students who are 18 or over who do not bring a government-issued driver’s license to the airport and/or passport will not be allowed to board the plane. They will have to be picked up by a parent and no refund will be given.
  6. Suit Case & Carry-On STUDENT WILL BRING ONE PIECE OF LARGE LUGGAGE (Luggage tags will be provided) The large luggage is for your clothes, and will be checked underneath the plane. MUSTNOT exceed 62 inches & MUST NOT exceed 50 pounds. STUDENT MAY CHECK IN A CARRY-ON. The second can be a book bag or backpack, and will be carried onto the plane by you. This bag must NOT exceed 24 inches. A pocketbook, or personal item of the like, does not count in the above total.
  7. Luggage- ConsequencesFrom JetBlue.com Failure to meet the restrictions set by the airline will result in a fee the student MUST pay before receiving a boarding pass. If the student does not pay the extra charge the luggage will not be placed on the plane. (JetBlue accepts cash & major credit card) Oversized BagsFee 63 - 80 inches= $75 per bag Bags over 80 inches Will not be accepted Overweight Bags Fee 51 - 70 pounds= $50 per bag 71 - 99 pounds=$100 per bag Bags over 99 pounds Will not be accepted
  8. Luggage Liquids Place all liquid products (shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste) in the bag you will check under the plane (large luggage). There is still a ban on bringing any liquid containers over 3 oz in your carry-on bag. If you MUST bring one of these items in your carry-on bag, make sure it is placed in a ONE QUART zip top bag, and is NO MORE THAN 3 oz (travel size).
  9. MANDATORY LUGGAGE CHECK CHAPERONES & ADMINISTRATION WILL BE PRESENT TO CHECK LUGGAGE FROM 2:10-4:30 IN THE STUDENT ACTIVITIES CENTER. STUDENTS SHOULD BRING LUGGAGE ACCORDING TO DESIGNATED TIME. LAST NAMES A-M: 2:10-3:20 PM LAST NAMES N-Z: 3:20-4:30 PM
  10. Airport Information DO NOT BRING FOOD TO AIRPORT. ALL OPEN FOOD & BEVERAGES WILL BE DISPOSED OF DURING SECUIRTY CHECK. FOOD & BEVERAGES WILL HAVE TO BE PURCHASED AFTER STUDENT HAS OBTAINED BOARDING PASS AND CLEARED SECURITY. BAGS OF CANDY/SNACKS WILL USUALLY BE CLEARED IF SEALED IN CARRY-ON.

  13. Behavior Students must adhere to all school policies while on this trip. All school rules and consequences will apply. Neither the hotel nor the chaperones will tolerate loud, obnoxious behavior that disturbs other guests. Lost or stolen items are not the responsibility of the school or hotel. Please lock up all valuable items or carry them with you at all times. It is suggested that any pieces of valuable jewelry, video games, etc. remain at home.
  14. Wed. March 6- LUGGAGE 2:10-4:30 PM Mandatory Luggage Check in at RHS- SAC room. LAST NAMES A-M: 2:10-3:20 PM LAST NAMES N-Z: 3:20-4:30 PM Sign-in at the SAC by placing your initials next to your name on the clipboard. Take the t-shirt size you ordered place & immediately into suitcase. Get bus assignment Student will fill out “luggage tag” & place immediately on suitcase.
  15. Thursday Mar 7- DEPART RHS After 3rd Block report to the Commons. Carry-on check in at RHS-Commons. Each student will line up according to bus groups, starting with BUS 1. Each carry-on will be inspected and students will then be cleared to take luggage. Students are to stay in line once they have been cleared.
  16. MONDAY Mar 11- DEPARTURE 3:00 PM Students return to All-Star Movies Resort & meet at discussed location. 4:00 PM Buses depart for Orlando Airport from All-Star Movies Resorts. 7:10 PM Departure of Jet Blue Flt. # 628 for Newark. If time permits: once all students have checked in luggage and cleared security, students will have time to purchase dinner at the airport upon direction from chaperones.
  17. MONDAY Mar 11-ARRIVAL 9:50 PM Arrival in Newark. 12:45 AM Estimated Time of Arrival at RHS student parking lot.

  20. Already Has Medication Orders During School Hours If student has medication with the school nurse to be administered during school hours, Do not need new orders for the class trip i.e. Advil Benadryl Epipen Inhaler
  21. Self Administration Can my child carry and take medication by themselves? No, the nurse is the only person on the trip who can administer medication to your child
  22. Exceptions

    Inhaler Benadryl Epipen Topical Acne Medication-I will collect and hold the Acne Medication until we get to Florida. Once in Disney I will dispense the topical acne medication to your child so they can self apply during the trip.
