  7. The RAP score indicates student progress in reading proficiency.. This scale is used to show student progress in each content area and Essential Standards. Unlike other strands, Number Sense is scored by individual Essential Standard due to the discrete skills in this area. Student progress is reported by “strands”. For example, “Reading Comprehension” is one of the strands in the area of English Language Arts. Listed under each strand are the District Essential Standards

  8. Life Long Learning Skills are the same K-5 and are reported on independently from Academic Skills. This area provides space for specific teacher comments regarding student progress. Extra support or Enrichments provided for students will be listed here by trimester. English Language Development is only marked for English Learners.
