Comparison • Cannot connect Power View directly to SP list data • Can export list to PowerPivot • Must have latest version of PowerPivot • Users must have at least Read permissions – View does not work • Note that read-only user can edit a report – just cannot save it • Power View is in Excel • Appears as a worksheet • No SQL • No SharePoint • SharePoint uses Excel Services to present Power View 2010 2013
