Exploring Character Qualities and Opposites in Fiction and Real Life

This resource guides students in American Sign Language (ASL) to explore the qualities of various characters, both fictional and real. Focusing on traits like good/bad, rich/poor, and brave/scared, learners are encouraged to describe people and clarify characteristics through vocabulary discussions. Assignments include analyzing characters such as Superman, Batman, and those from "The Wizard of Oz," emphasizing their attributes and opposites, fostering communicative clarity in ASL. Students will enhance their understanding of character nuances and oppositional traits.
