Scout’s Own • The South • The South promise warm weather with harmonious rain and wind. • May God water us, the Scouts, with rains of love and kindness that have dried up in this selfish and unforgiving society. Day or night, it gives the point of reference to those who do not want to get lost. • May God bless us, the Scouts, with the eyes, the mind and the heart of purity and clarity. This is a peaceful time when we can relax and think of how lucky we are to be able to be together on beautiful mountain. Scout’s Own • Reflection – It makes a difference • As the old man walked the beach at dawn he noticed a young man ahead of him picking up starfish and flinging them into the sea. • Catching up with the young man he asked him why he was doing this, the answer was that the stranded starfish would die if left until the morning sum. • “But the beach goes on for miles and there are millions of starfish,” countered the old man. • “How can your effort make any difference?” • The young man looked at the starfish in his hand and threw it to the safety of the waves. • “It makes a difference to this one” he said. • Phútngẫmnghĩ - Điềuấytạonênkhácbiệt • Cómộtcụgiàtảnbộtrênbãibiểnvàobuổihoànghôn.
