Racism: mistreatment of people on the basis of race, place of origin or ancestry; a belief that one group is inferior to another group.Racism is the belief that a person‘s abilities, personality, and values are influenced by race, color, or ethnic origin. Racism is any action based on stereotypes that view all members of a racial, ethnic, or cultural group as being the same, rather than individuals.It is the mistaken belief that one group is superior to another, and is often the cause of discrimination by organizations, institutions, and individuals.
