  9. Why proposals fail The proposal doesn’t fit with the grant-makers objectives. Badly written – no log-frame with monitoring & evaluation. No business plan for the future. The guidelines were ignored. Documents requested not included. Need not explained – why is site important? Ask level unrealistic – no quotations. Deadline missed. No track record or professional support clear. Proposal not sent…
