  2. NYU Silver School of Social WorkIntegrated Geriatric Mental Health-Rotation Model • Each of three students will have a primary placement/field instructor, with the capacity to rotate through two internal sites at that placement which exemplify the continuum of geriatric mental health services. The implementation of the internal rotation, i.e., simultaneous or sequenced placements, etc. is as yet undetermined, but will enable the student to have multiple and varied experiences within the primary agency, with the supervision of a primary, overall field instructor. The intersection of circles represents a joint project which all three students will collaborate on which will integrate geriatric mental health practice and policy and will be overseen by a task supervisor at an additional site. Therefore a total of four sites will be used in the first year: Placement 1: Aging in America, 2: St. Vincent’s Geropsychiatry Unit/Gatekeeper program, 3: Westside Federation for Senior Housing and 4: The Geriatric Mental Health Alliance (secondary site for collaborative project).
