Ten steps to Interview success • 1. Know the company • Make a effort to research your target organization • 2. Know your skills • Your “selling” your skills and yourself as a person • 3. Practice • Ask some one to interview you give him/her a list of questions to throw at you
4. Dress the part • Show up in the right attire for the interview your going to • 5. Get there early • Show up 10 minutes early so you can refresh your memory • 6. Make a good impression • The interviewer starts forming opinions from the moment you two shake hands
7. Answer well • Don’t ramble. • 8. Ask questions • Usually at the end of an interview, you’ll be asked if you have any questions. If you don’t ask something it can be taken as a sign of lack of interest
9. Be your self • Don’t pretend to be someone your not • 10. Follow up • Write a short thank-you note to your interviewer
