  2. What is Fairtrade about? • Fair trade is a business that helps people to get more money for their families. The Fair trade system currently works with over 1.5 million farmers and workers. 25 per cent of all Fair trade farmers and workers are women. .

  3. Coffee Facts Coffee is one of the world’s most popular beverages. When you choose Fair trade coffee, not only can farmers build a better quality of life for their families and communities, they can invest in growing better quality beans too.

  4. Coffee Facts Choosing Fair trade coffee means helping coffee farmers around the world to get a fair deal. Around 125 million people worldwide depend on coffee for their live hood.

  5. Coffee Facts An average coffee farmer lives on £1.37 a day .America consumes one-fifth of all the world’s coffee, making the US the largest consumer of coffee in the world.

  6. Fair trade facts • Fair Trade products include coffee, tea, rice, fresh fruit, juices, sugar, honey, sports balls, wine, flowers, and our favourite cocoa. Buying Fair trade chocolate makes a huge difference to the lives of cocoa farmers and their families around the world. For many cocoa farmers, the reality of the chocolate industry is anything but sweet.
