  1. MDI 2500 Engine – Compactor Application Customer Care
  2. Brief History about this Application L & T Case (CNH Now) Equipment Division, Pithampur MP is One of the Major Earth Moving Equipment Manufacturer of India. They were using Engine from our Auto Division as a Prime Mover for Mini-Compactor Model 450 DX. They faced several problems with this Engine and request us to provide reliable Engine for this Application.
  3. 575 Engine on this Application ENGINE MODEL: We offered initially MDI 585 Engine for this Application. Same was replaced with MDI 575, once the BS-III CEV emission norms implemented. MDI 575 is being called as MDI 2500 after ARAI Certification. Recently Case-New Holland (CNH) has taken over this business from L&T.
  4. Product Features This engine is very robust and suitable for Construction equipment application. Proven engine design in tractor market since last 10 years. Engine is supplied with Air filter & Radiator i.e. With time tested cooling & air filtration system used in tractors. Engine being common with tractor engine after sales service is easily available from any tractor / Genset dealer which is available in each and every small districts in India. Engine is able to work at 16 Deg. Gradient, which is very important for Earth Moving application.
  5. Scope of Supply MDI 2500 Engine of 45 HP @2300 RPM is being supplied along with following – Starter motor 12 V, Alternator 12V-36Amp. Std. Oil Filter/Fuel Filter Air Filter– 6” High Capacity Aluminum Radiator. Radiator Fan is NOT in our scope of supply.

  10. Free Services As mentioned in Maintenance Schedule, 1 visit for Comm. & 5 Free Services are offered to Customer as a special case for this application. Dealers can claim FSC thru. Portal. However observed utilisation of FSC is poor due to awareness amongst Dealers as well in Customers. Need your support in this regard.
