Research project based on ICEP book Research/ source side requirements: General: Seven slides • slide1– your research question • A map page that corresponds with your book. • Three slides with two text details each from articles (articles: something written which you have to read, text details should be short paragraphs from the article, they could also be maps, charts or other relevant information) • The article slides need a corresponding image or linked image. • At least one video/slideshow source – videos from youtube or other videos/ slideshows sites (like news organizations) • A bibliography with sources listed in alphabetical order by author. Sources: use reputable news sources (BBC, CNN, FOX, NBC, al Jezzera, NPR, PBS, … TIME, Newsweek, New York Times, Wall Street Journal… One source must be from Wikipedia’s cited sources listed at the bottom of Wikipedia entries (Wikipedia has done the vetting for you) Consider .GOV, .EDU, and most .ORG sites as reliable. Citations: All sources need to be properly cited – use Easybib.com for citation criteria Reflection side requirements On this side you need to write three quotas: • A 2-3 sentence quota about why you believe the source to be reliable. • A ten line personal reflection about the source on the right hand side; what did you learn? What does your text details, video or slideshow reflect about Afghanistan? … • A five line quota relating the left side to ICEP
