  1. Do Now What happens during a cold front? What type of precipitation does a warm front bring? What’s the job of the mitochondria in the cell?

  2. Announcements • We’re going outside today, so please be on your best behavior.

  3. agenda • Setting my expectations • Track • Speed calculations • Additional speed problems

  4. Expectations • We are going outside, so you need to listen to my directions. • On the walk up, you are NEVER to be way out in front or behind me. • No playing around! • Seriously, how many times have you gotten to go outside during school? • Let’s not ruin this opportunity.

  5. Expectations • We will need to share stopwatches. • When we get up to the track, we will huddle around and I’ll explain how that will work. • YOU NEED TO BRING YOUR PAPER AND A PENCIL/PEN!!

  6. Speed Calculations • Go ahead and complete your speed table that you copied down.

  7. Follow up questions • On your lab paper, answer the following questions in complete sentences. • Did your speed remain constant? • Think about the human body and the atmosphere, what were some things that were happening that could have either slowed you down, or increased your speed.
