Sub-Master Clock supplier in IP-CS Group. While Master CS1 is working, it performs as Slave CS. 3. Slave CS. Other IP-CS in IP-CS group. You must set OUS for the IP-CS before the program (2) Set Index of Primary CS and secondary CS: Specify the IP-CS Index No. for Primary CS and Secondary CS. Slave CS (and Master CS2 also) needs to be specified other IP-CS nearer to the Master CS1 as the “Primary CS” for keeping the synchronization. “Secondary CS” is backup of “Primary CS” for failure of it.

  10. IPCS supported 3/8 (3) Example of typical IP-CS Configuration You need to consider the configuration of IP-CS different way from the configuration of traditional (wired) CS because IP-CS needs to keep sync to both PS and other CS (primary and secondary) by radio-wave. Impossible to program !

  11. IPCS supported 4/8 Traditional (wired) CS becomes automatically and always Master CS1 of the IP-CS network. Impossible to program !

  12. IP Network IPCS supported 5/8 3. V-IPCS4 firmware FTP Download supported FTP sever For example: ftp://2045:G$HIA&C@mailftp.jp.panasonic.com/ Telephone network New Software By Modem Dealer Office Customer Office By RS-232C (2) Download new software from FTP server automatically. (1) Inform FTP address. By LAN IP-CS NT400 1. Remote update by mode. 2. On-site update by RS-232C. 3. Update by LAN.

  42. Additional setting

  43. Additional VoIP-DSP Option 1/5 1. Added parameters NEW

  44. Additional VoIP-DSP Option 2/5 2. Common background The following value and setting is different between the VoIP devices (V-SIPGW, V-SIPEXT, V-IPEXT, V-IPGW). (A) The DSP power-resources which is reserved for conversion of CODEC. (B) The method of selecting (selection algorithm) the CODEC. From this situation, you can face the following situation. (1) Sometimes undesired CODEC is used after the negotiation with the communicating devices. (2) Depending on the selected CODEC, you can face the disconnection of the call from the lack of the DSP power-resources. The newly added 3 parameters are aiming to reduce the risk of those possible technical problem by fixing the CODEC on each VoIP device.

  45. Additional VoIP-DSP Option 3/5 3. Explanation of each parameter 3-1. DSP CODEC G.711 Only (SIP Extension) The algorithm of the negotiation on the codec of the SIP Phone for the incoming call is various by depending on the design of the telephone manufacturers. Therefore, it is difficult to control CODEC with priority for the incoming call process by the PBX side (like PBX can do it for IP-PT). When this parameter is set as Enable, PBX performs as followings to improve the above mentioned point. (1) PBX permits only G.711 CODEC for the incoming call (PBX -> SIP-Extension). (Please note that the call will be dropped if SIP Phone doesn't support G.711 in local setting) (2) PBX follows to the CODEC selection on the SIP-Extension side for the outgoing call (SIP-Extension -> PBX) as usual.

  46. Additional VoIP-DSP Option 4/5 3-2. DSP CODEC G.711 Only (IPGW) Our V-IPGW always reserves the maximum possibility of the DSP power-resources before starting of the conversation. By this reason, in the normal mode, V-IPGW request the DSP power-resources of G.729 without depending on the actual CODEC of the conversation or on the setting of the priority of CODEC. Therefore, the call on V-IPGW can very easily cause the lack of the DSP power-resources. When this parameter is set as Enable, PBX performs as followings to improve the above mentioned point. (1) PBX permits only G.711 CODEC for the outgoing call (V-IPGW -> other IGPW). (Please note that the call will be dropped if other IPGW doesn't support G.711 in the setting) (2) PBX follows to the CODEC selection of other IPGW side for the incoming call (other IPGW -> V-IPGW) as usual.

  47. Additional VoIP-DSP Option 5/5 3-3. DSP CODEC Priority-1 value Only (others) The meaning of others are V-SIPGW and V-IPEXT. By depending on the situation, the call on V-SIPGW and V-IPEXT can use the lower priority CODEC in normal situation. When this parameter is set as Enable, PBX performs as followings to improve the above mentioned point. (1) PBX permits the highest priority CODEC for both the incoming call and the outgoing call of IP-Extension PBX permits the highest priority CODEC for both the incoming call and the outgoing call of V-SIPGW. (Please note that the call will be dropped if SIP Provider doesn't support highest priority CODEC of our PBX)
