Today’s AgendaWashington DC WWI Video Quiz Bell Ringer – 14 May 2012 Get out a sheet of paper, head it with your first and last name, today’s date, and the period you have world history in the upper right hand corner. Title the paper “World War I Video Quiz” and number your paper 1 through 20. You have two minutes, so hurry! Turn in your DBQ journal onto the cart by the filing cabinets.

  2. On the back of your paper, write down the following: You can get a discounted price on the Washington DC trip if you talk to Mr. Goulder before the 29th of May. You can take notes on the back of your paper, but you don’t have to take notes. This note will appear again at the end of the video.

Turn your Video Quiz paper in to the front bin. • Go get a workbook from the cabinet between the “Staying in Control” poster and the “Action Steps” poster. • Go to your seat and tear out pages 234 – 235. • Put the workbook away in the textbook cabinet with the “Bystander Power.” • Your homework is to write quickthinks for the 14 paragraphs on these pages and to answer the vocabulary strategy, target reading skill, reading checks, and review questions. • You may work together on this, but no one can be dismissed unless the desks are back in place.
