  35. Giving Reminders • Please avoid putting personal designations on your check when making benevolence contributions; place them on a separate sheet of paper or note. • Personally designated offerings are invalid according to IRS rules. • All benevolence must follow a process to determine the need, otherwise it could be misconstrued as a tax evasion issue, thus all suggested recipients must pass a review of need by the designated church representative (currently one or more of the elders) • This avoids potential IRS charitable contribution issues if you are ever audited. • Church designated offerings can be listed on the check (e.g. general benevolence, hurricane relief, adopt a pastor, etc.) • Designated offerings are listed on the offering boxes for your convenience. • Online Giving – We will soon have the ability to give to the church and various ministries online. More will be explained when those capabilities are made public.

  36. To Excel Still More • We are doing what we can to keep ministry moving forward more aggressively, but still with prudence • 2012 is a challenging year, but we should accept the challenge with hopeful hearts • Building on new foundations for new ministry • There are still needs which so far have been met within the congregation • Continue to Bathe Everything in Prayer • To God Be the Glory Romans 15:13Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

  37. Your Shepherds’ Hearts • Colossians 1:28We proclaim Him, admonishing every man and teaching every man with all wisdom, so that we may present every man complete in Christ. • 3 John 1:4I have no greater joy than this, to hear of my children walking in the truth.
