THREE KEY STEPS 1) Where are we now? • Vehicles, drivers, miles, crashes, causes, costs? • Management system (policy, organisation, planning, monitoring, review)? 2) Set up a team (H&S, HR, Fleet, Safety Reps ) • develop ‘management system’, • Seek external partners 3) Develop an ‘action plan’ to: • assess risks, prioritise interventions • set standards, targets, timescales etc • implement • monitor, review and feed back lessons learned RoSPA’s Mission is to Save Lives and Reduce Injuries
