  1. Introducing the Headmaster “My belief is that all students can achieve success and happiness at school. It is the schools responsibility to find the key that unlocks the interests and skills of the students who attend the school and equip them with the skills to ensure they are successful during their time with us, but even more importantly for the rest of their lives.’’ Mr. S.Murphy.

  2. School progress Exam results Chaucer Technology School is proud to announce that it’s results have hit a seven year high and are the best results that our school has seen since 2001.  Fifty two percent of our students have achieved five or more A* to C grades at GCSE this year, which has shown a huge move forward for our school and our students life chances. In addition to this, many of our students gained five A* to C grades (32% this year a three year improving trend) including English and Mathematics and we are looking to build on this substantially this year too.  Our ‘A’ level results were the best for the school for a number of years and our points score has increased to its best ever in ten years. Our most recent OFSTED report recognises the direction of the school is taking through its transformational leadership.

  3. School Activities Chaucer Tech has many activities for active minds, we have many clubs, events and social events for our pupils. We have a highly dedicated team of staff who regularly think of new concepts & activities. So if you like sport, science, the arts or music we have a club for you! Our activities are intended to engage, infuse and educate our pupils… Some activities are just about plain fun, so Students come along, have fun and engage!

  4. Introducing our new Post 16 building. We have a thriving Sixth form of around two hundred students, who study a wide range of subjects and, thanks to the Canterbury Collaboration, can choose to study them in a range of different schools/colleges.  We have made a strong start to the year with students involved in projects with Kent and Christchurch Universities and working in collaboration with Canterbury Cathedral.   Students are also playing an active role in the everyday running of the school. With this in mind, the new purpose built facility will house this community, with the latest educational technology built into the design. We also hope that this building will also engage the wider community.

  5. Examples of Work. Chaucer Tech is delighted to be a full member of the Canterbury 14-19 Partnership.  There is now a common curriculum and timetable across the partnership schools for Post 16 education. If you would like further information or would like to obtain a school prospectus please visit our school website at: www.chaucer.ac.uk Throughout the years our students have produced some great examples of work from our wide range of subjects we have on offer. Here are some examples of work from many different year ranges.
